I was introduced to the practice of Muscle Activation Techniques because of my nephew, who suffers from scoliosis. Within his first MAT session, I saw immediate relief in his discomfort, and a tremendous increase in his mobility. After witnessing such amazing results, I knew this was the career path for me! I want to help people do what they love, and I am so thrilled to be able to offer this special treatment to the people of Grand County! This treatment is very complimentary to chiropractic and acupuncture, however, receiving acupuncture or chiropractic is not required for MAT treatment to work. Many physical therapists have even referred to MAT as “the missing link in full body healing”. It can bring the pain relief you’ve been seeking as well as improve your ability to function in your day-to-day life!
