The 3 Best Snow Tubing Spots Around Grand County

Snow tubing delivers the downhill thrills of a Colorado winter without requiring skis, a snowboard or hours spent learning turns. Around the Fraser Valley, groomed tubing hills pair fast descents with lifts that handle the uphill trip, making the activity accessible for families and groups looking for an alternative to the slopes. Featured in the Best of Grand contest, these tubing destinations offer their own takes on a simple winter formula: grab a tube, ride up and hang on for the trip down.

Fraser Tubing Hill

Fraser Tubing Hill has been sending riders downhill since 1971. The family-owned Fraser attraction features groomed, banked slopes and a tow lift that carries tubers back uphill for another run. A warming house and helmet rentals complement an experience built around traditional, family-friendly snow tubing.

Coca-Cola Tube Hill || Winter Park Resort

Coca-Cola Tube Hill brings snow tubing directly to the base of Winter Park Resort. Four groomed lanes feature banked curves, while a covered conveyor lift handles the return trip uphill. Stadium lighting allows tubing to continue after dark, and a heated warming lodge offers beverages and snacks between runs.

Colorado Adventure Park

Colorado Adventure Park combines multiple winter activities at its Fraser facility. In addition to groomed tubing runs and a tow lift, the locally owned park offers double tubes, snow-scoop rentals and children's snowmobile experiences. Guests can warm up inside a large hut with snack concessions and a beer and wine bar.
